Scrub Club Rips Off Another Employee 09-29-07- Is the Scrub Club closing? Are they hiding evidence? Or is Jerry getting ripped off. UPDATED 10-03-07- Computers were removed from the club and we wondered what was happening. Have since learned that they belonged to an employee who did computer work for Jerry and was leaving town. Jerry did not give him his last three checks. So, another former employee is ripped off. So obviously Jerry has not turned over any new leaves. He is still the scum bag rip-off artist he always has been. No wonder a child molester is his only friend. So have we been too harsh on him? Not a chance. In fact, his name and reputation are such crap that he has people calling him "Kyle" so that anyone nearby doesn't know who he really is. Definitely not a Kyle!
Scum Bag Scrub Club Manager Goes Down I knew it was only a matter of time. Bond has been set at $500,000. Mike was on probation for reckless driving, a deal given him by the State Attorney, rather than DUI. That probation was revoked and bond was set at $25,000 but that was changed to No Bond. Funny though, had the State Attorney prosecuted on DUI Mike would not have been driving around to get busted. Funny how karma works. So Mike is not going anywhere! The Monroe County Sheriff's website had the first image on their site and later in the day it was changed to the second image which has much worse quality but shows better how fat this scumbag has become. Update: May 9, 2007 -- Michael Carroll Takes a Plea The owner of this site owns a television production company and I was in court today on an order the court issued as part of our plan to videotape Carroll's trial. Under Florida Supreme Court rules the judge has to review the equipment and a hearing was set for that purpose. The parties were served. When the case was called for my motion, the case was officially before the court. Michael was there with his attorney Richard Wunsch and the attorney said he had a motion that would make hearing mine unnecessary. To make a long story short, he had worked out a plea deal with the state. Carroll plead guilty to reckless driving (4 points) rather than DUI. He got one year on probation with a fine of $500 or 50 hours of community service at $10 an hour, plus has to go to DUI school. He has to pay $50 a month for the probation supervision. Once he completes the terms the probation will be dropped. The state hates having to go through jury trials and neither side probably wanted to be on television. He was very lucky. The next time he gets busted for DUI he will not be so lucky. Taping the trial was not directed against Michael, per se, we thought it would be an interesting trial on a number of counts. We are taping other trials in Key West in the near future which will be available on the web and on television. Update: May 5, 2007 -- ATM 99 Percent Service Charge! Even I could hardly believe it. At the back ATM in the Scrub Club if a customer takes out $100 he will have $199.00 deducted from his account according to club sources. This is the biggest ripoff I have ever heard of. Is it even legal? Read all about it in our Message Forum. Update: May 5, 2007 -- Did you know? This is a little site and being on one subject it does not get huge traffic, but it does get very good traffic all things considered. We have over 30,000 hits a month and over 1200 unique visitors a month. Unique visitors mean that every month there are 1200 new people visiting the site who have never been here before. That is 1200 people who will not be going to the Scrub Club. When Jerry had a site for the Scrub Club and people did a search for it, this site would come up first. I guess that is why Jerry abandoned his site until very recently when he finally paid the hosting bill. Update: April 21, 2007-- False Advertising Too? Jerry must be getting desperate. Now he is running an advertisement in the Key West The Newspaper, otherwise known as the Blue Paper saying the Scrub Club is under "New ownership and management." That is a laugh, it is owned by KWSC, Inc. and run by Jerry, although he has women front the corporation for him. So Jerry, did KWSC actually sell the club? I doubt it. Jerry should have sold it a couple of years ago when he was offered a big chunk of money, but of course Jerry was greedy and thought his scam would last forever. Jerry and his mail order Ukraine bride are still listed as the only KWSC, Inc. officers. We really would like to have the definition of new ownership and management. Yeah, kind of like a going out of business sale at a t-shirt shop that then reopens with the same owner and staff under a new name. You just know Jerry wrote the ad because he takes a swipe at two women who used to work for the Club.... like there are any customers who go back a second time or would even consider it. If the reader is not local, I should explain that the Blue Paper is printed in blue ink, hence the nickname. Jerry has been using the photo of "Nikki" in his ads saying she is an actual model. Well, she was, three years ago! Is that false advertising? Update: April 8, 2007-- Jerry, Get a Permit While the public was enjoying Easter Sunday, Jerry was busy cheating the city by having some bum workers painting the Scrub Club without a permit. The building is in a HARC (historical area) and painting a building requires a permit. Jerry of course is too cheap to buy a permit. He never got permits, except when he got caught putting up a fence without a permit in 2003. The city made him get a permit after the fact. He has not had a permit since, for any work. Update: April 6, 2007-- Jerry Goes Off the Deep End! With a change of employment and hours I have not been able to keep up with the happenings at the Scrub Club until now. But WOW, has the shit happened in my absence. As I have said, the girls working for the scrub club are ripped off almost as badly as the customers. I had no idea how bad things had gotten, though. Jerry's rules have gone from 24 pages to something like 60 pages. I found out there is even a rule that if a girl visits this site and Jerry finds out, it is a $300 fine. Jerry has been ripping off the girls even worse than I thought, until they had finally had enough and left enmasse. He always though finds desperate women out of town (mainly from Tampa) to come to his club here in Key West and work without knowing what they are getting themselves into. Well, recently many of the girls that had been at the club the longest got fed up with Jerry's slavery and quit enmass. He is now trying to sue three of them. The girls were always independent contractors and he had them sign a new contract every week when I was there. He had them sign various agreements, which I doubt are enforcable, but that will be determined by a court. More details are available in the message forum. But, there is a lot happening and the girls and other observers are in a better position to provide the details than I am. Even Valerie, one of the most loyal and dedicated employees Jerry had, who worked as the general manager at times and in other top positions got fed up and left and he is even suing her. He thinks he can sue anyone and get away with it. Not this time. I had no idea anyone wanted to post to the message board which got hacked and I had not put it back up. Today, April 7, 2007 the message forum is back up and visitors are invited to post relevant comments. You can read for yourselves exactly how crazy Jerry really is. This will be very interesting. Update: December 15, 2006-- Another Unlicensed Van! I reported here previously about two vans owned by the Scrub Club that did not have license plates for many months. They got plates after I posted it here. See the Update page for details. It turns out I missed a van, a red Chevrolet Lumina van. The temporary plates have been on it so long, like six months, that the expiration date is faded away. It has been sitting on United Street for half a year and the police have not even ticketed it. Myself and any number of other people have mentioned this to the cops who have time to hang out at the Tea and Coffee House around the corner, but seem to never have the time to call parking enforcement or go over and write a ticket themselves. 	Update: November 9, 2006-- Jerry Rips Off More People! We have learned that Jerry is up to his old tricks of refusing to pay employees. He has refused to pay a manager $1,000 owed because the paperwork allegedly was not done correctly. (Employees have to be paid for hours worked, regardless of any alleged paperwork.) He has refused to pay two girls the $5,000 they each earned during Fantasy Fest allegedly because they did not complete their paperwork properly. Jerry doesn't need much of an excuse to rip people off.

Update: August 23, 2006-- Vans are Coming Back! And not only that, Jerry never learns. He is still as big of a crook and con man as ever. Jerry purchased two vans in Arkansas. The photos are of one of them, a 2000 Dodge Caravan. Jerry got temporary license tags in Arkansas and they are now long expired. So instead of getting legal Florida license plates, he has a sign printed up that claims the tag was lost. Guess he hasn't learned anything. But naturally, parking enforcement and law enforcement have no clue. They will need to be painted first to be of any real use other than letting the child molester cruise around town. (Shortly after we posted this update, the club finally got plates for the two vans they have.] This van is regularly driven by the child molester running the scam club. Watch out for it as the pervert now can cruise young boys all over town.

Update: July 8, 2006

Attacked! Various people have warned me that Jerry Andrews is dangerous and might have me beaten up badly, crippled or even killed. I know he did not have the guts to do anything himself. He always has other people do his dirty work. NOW, the very week he is reportedly in Australia (with a good alibi), three men try to attack me. His pervert buddy could easily have worked as the spotter. They know exactly what bars I go to. However, they were a little too slow and didn't know my vehicle was just around a corner. They tried to force the doors open, but then people started walking by and they just stood and stared at me. Three mean white guys with buzz cuts that looked like they just got out of prison. They had not shaved for a few days and were in their late 20's to mid 30's. They were too ugly to get laid. Before they could figure out what further to do, I pulled away and drove off. As soon as I turned the corner I called the police. I hoped they could do a Terry Stop and at least find out who these guys were. I had never seen them before. But of course, the KWPD can hardly solve any crimes that aren't handed to them on a platter, so I have never heard anything back from them. It could have just been random, but it didn't seem that way and there are no reports of other people being robbed or bashed in the area, or any arrests made.

Jerry is up to something. Fleeing the country? Read all about it in our message forum. The IRS is finally investigating Jerry and I am sure he is pissed about that. Is Michael Carroll on his way out? Is Jerry dumping him? Does he know the Key West Police Department wants to arrest him and put him away for life? Stay tuned, the end may be coming for the evil doers.

Update: March 15, 2006

At long last the Scrub Club vans are gone. Wilma caused Duval Street to flood and the two remaining vans were trashed. Hot bag of air Jerry that he is, actually got the insurance company to tow them to Miami before the insurance company figured out he did not have comprehensive on them, only minimum liability insurance. The insurance company towed them back and they sat on the street for months. Various interested parties complained as they violated their parking permits and then they had no parking permits and were taking up meter spaces, that the club had to push the vans around by hand to move them. Finally they got towed away never to be seen again.

Around and around we go.... Micheal Carroll was back in Key West, and then he left around the end of August according to the Key West Police department which saw

him off at the Key West Airport. Now it appears he is back for good. Or, at least until this town gets sick of him cruising local teenage boys or Jerry decides he doesn't want his gay child molestor sycophant giving him ... anymore. We also hear that Jerry's wife Yulia is pregnant.

The Rocky Mountain News story of October 27, 2005 said "Michael Christopher Carroll, 37, completed de-registration paperwork with the sheriff's office on Oct. 18 that showed his intent to move permanently to Key West, Fla., said Lt. Alan Stanton." He has been seen hanging around the Scrub Club with owner Jerry Andrews following their return from Jerry's yearly pre-Fantasy Fest vacation in the Orlando, FL area.

Michael Carroll is now back in Key West and was the subject of a page one story in Key West The Newspaper (otherwise known as the Blue Paper). A source said he is only here on a temporary basis. We would guess to try to let the heat die down in Colorado.

Update: May 14, 2005

The story is ongoing. Michael Carroll who is classified as a "Violent Sexual Predator" and Jerry Andrews (Scrub Club owner and convicted felon) have been the subject of television news reports on all Denver television stations, and the subject of talk radio in the Denver area. Due to Carroll, a bill was introduced in the Colorado legislature to control where sexual predators can live and work. Police regularly patrol past Jerry's house. There is a chat web site that keeps track of Carroll's every move. There is still more information posted in the forums on this site. The neighborhood association was raising money to purchase the house Jerry lives in to get him and Carroll to move, which according to reports we have received is actually owned by his ex-girlfriend Heidi Davis. Former employees tell us that Jerry forged payroll stubs for Davis (among other things) in order to get a loan. So this story is far from over. The house is currently on the market.

More on the saga of Carroll and Jerry Andrews. Jerry can't live without his child molesting gay buddy it seems. They made up and Jerry took Carroll back to his home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Jerry said he didn't care what the neighbors thought about it. Carroll lives in Jerry's basement. I wonder how Jerry's wife feels about that? The Douglas County Sheriffs Department, as per Colorado law, notified neighbors of Carroll's presence. Then the fun began. Read the article in the Douglas County News Press. and the two articles in the Denver Post. Over 400 people showed up to tell Jerry how popular he is in his neighborhood now!

Update: Feb. 2005

Sexual predator Michael Carroll has been released from the Monroe County Jail on 11-08-04 and was once again living at the Scrub Club. Then, in January Jerry fired Michael accusing him of stealing money, by telling potential customers that tipping was required. Jerry does NOT want the suckers to know they have to tip in addition to paying the $150.00 session fee, because all he cares about is getting that session fee! Then, in Feburary 2005, the new general manager Jerry hired emptied out the ATM machines and left town. Karma is a bitch.
